Sound on debian 1

I have a VIA_AUDIO on-board card and I've installed the module in the kernel (Debian Woody, Kernel 2.4.18).


And now I want it sound....


how can I ?

You need to give yourself permission to read/write /dev/sound, /dev/dsp cos Debian won't do that for you by default.
