Sound files and scene transitions

Hello!

I have a small flash website that I'm working on. Currently, it has a sound file that starts up when the site first opens. Here's the thing, I'd like that sound file to stop when a button is clicked to go to a different page on the flash site (mainly because that page has it's own sound file and they both play at the same time =P). Does anyone know what kind of actionscript I need to make it stop upon a click? Some sort of onMouse(Click) type of event?
