I have Win2k Pro system. I tried to install Sound drivers for the system . But I couldnot get any sound. When I checked in device manager, all the drivers in sound, video and game controllers are showing with an exclamatory symbol. When I open the sound driver properties, it shows a following description.
"This device doesnot work properly because windows cannot load the drivers".

When I try to update or reinstall the driver, it opts for restarting the system and still the problem persists. And I am sure that the drivers which i try to install are correct. Please anyone help me to resolve this issue. Thanks in Advance...

Try a different set of drivers (even if you are sure the others are correct), try a different version of the driver or try downloading them from a different site.

What device are you having trouble with?

If you built this computer yourself check that you have the front audio connectors installed. If you dont ensure that the jumpers on the front audio are set according to the manual. Reason being the front audio is in turn with the rear audio and must loop around in order to make it out. If front audio connectors are not used then certain jumpers are need to be set however the manual states. I mention this because I forgot to put the jumpers on mine as I remember reading about it. Went a week installing different drivers, checking speakers, ready to pull my hair back and almost sent the board in for repair when I remember something about the jumpers lol. So be sure to check that.
