Sound driver for Compaq

My compaq PC was installed Windows Me innitially and now I have installed Win2000 on it. But the system cannot find any driver compatible to the audio card in my PC. What should I do?

Look on the Compaq website to see if there are any W2K drivers for your model of PC:-


Alternatively, try and identify the sound chip, which will either be built into the mobo or on a separate card perhaps? Then look on the web for upgraded drivers.
