I have two computers networked to a hub to a cable modem.

The sound cards do not work in both machines. One machine has a repeating echo effect, the other has no sound at all. The sound cards and the Lynksis NIC cards are PNP.

My first sound card had software that you could set the IRQ's and work around a conflict. What can I do with this situation?
Try physically changing the irq and dma settings on each card separately.

Set the NIC's to irq 10 and the soundcards to irq 5.

The sound card that is working but has an echo, try changing the buffer size so the machine can accept more input. otherwise, just reinstall the drivers for all cards one at a time.

I hope that this helps you..
