Sound card problems! (sony vaio running SuSE 7.1)

hello

i'm running SuSE Linux 7.1 on my Sony Vaio (model PCV-RX305) and i cannot get Linux to find the sound card!

what's the first step to solving this problem? i'd love to be able to listen to my computer!!! ;-)
