Hi all,

We have a situation regarding a WSS 2 that basically died. My very urgent question which I hope the answer is yes, is:

we have the database's .mdb (WMSDE) and .ldf files etc these were detached and copied. Can we simply reinstall WSS 2 and point to the these files to get Sharepoint up and running again? If the answer is yes could someone point me in the right direction or documentation etc to perform this?

Would be most greatful if someone can shed any light on this and save our souls.

Cheers

How? You could help someone else who has this same problem if you post the solution. That's the whole point of this forum.
