Good Afternoon

I am looking for some help with a script I am trying to develop

I have a text file that I want to join & sort by the 1st column

Example

100086984 5806120156 84.98 01/05/2012 95.31 07/05/2012 10/08/2012
101637184 0416540170 93.15 01/09/2011 130.00 28/05/2012
106887584 2710920170 80.68 17/09/2012 92.31 01/04/2012
107197465 5803140110 101.54 12/01/2012 97.31 02/04/2012 14/10/2012
108386571 4209540484 89.91 01/08/2011 92.21 01/04/2012 05/08/2012
108936585 0401710521 91.15 02/08/2011 82.31 01/04/2012 05/08/2012
100086984 5806120156 84.98 01/05/2012 92.31 07/05/2012 10/08/2012
101637184 0416540170 93.15 01/09/2011 120.00 28/05/2012
106887584 2710920170 80.68 17/09/2011 92.31 01/04/2012
107197465 5803140110 101.54 12/01/2012 92.31 02/04/2012 14/10/2012

If you look at the above the 1st column is the unique data that I want to sort by and join

I want the results to look like the following based on example 100086984

1000869384 5806120156 84.98 01/05/2012 95.31 07/05/2012 10/08/2012 100086984 5806120156 84.98 01/05/2012 92.31 07/05/2012 10/08/2012

Thanks

108386571 4209540484 89.91 01/08/2011 92.31 01/04/2012 05/08/2012
108936585 0401710521 91.15 02/08/2011 92.31 01/04/2012 05/08/2012

I understand the desire to sort, but a join implies 2 or more tables are going to be involved. What are you joining it with?
