I am doing a query on a production DB for the last 24 hours of data. Info comes back fine. I am trying to look at info by the hour so I have tried a couple of technics. At first the Engineer just wanted to look at throughput. So, I created an array with 24 elements and counted everything. Worked fine, but he changed his mind and now wants to be able break out certain pieces of the data. So, I jumped to the pivot table. So I format the !EVENT_DATE by doing a format(!EVENT_DATE, "m/d : h), this converts it to 12/22 : 23 and my pivot table automatically combines all the dates and hours and everything is great...almost...the sort goes by date then hour except it goes

12/22 : 10
12/22 : 11
12/22 : 12
12/22 : 13
...
12/22 : 21
12/22 : 22
12/22 : 23
12/22 : 8
12/22 : 9

which, of course, I would like the 12/22 8 and 9 to be before the 10 o'clock...the colon delimiter doesn't seem to make a difference...any help would be a appreciated...
