I am trying to sort this table of about 1,K records. I have tried the normal sort procedure/method but I can't find the procedure/method needed. I am looking for a procedure/method that will give me one field for the primary sort field and also give me a secondary sort field for a sort of records within the primary sort field.

Not sure what you mean by sort. You should set a primary key or keys for the table. If this has been done and you want the table ordered by other fields for display purposes, use query. Place the fields that you want to sort by at the far left of the design grid, then set the sort box to Ascending or Descending depending on your needs. The sort priority is from left to right, so the field to sort on first goes first in the grid, then the next and so on.

Hope this helps. If this isn't what you are looking for give us a shout. Have fun!)

As long the field that you are sorting
with first field to the left of second just shade them
both and do A-z or Z-A
does this help
