I have several report that I need to have certain areas sorted alphabetically or numerically

The queries are sorted but when the report is run the output is not sorted.

How can I get it to sort out aplabetically or numerically?

Thanks

You can modify the sorting of your data in a report by using the Sorting and Grouping options. Click this button from the button bar or select it from the View menu. Select Sorting and Grouping.

This window allows you to select fields in the order that you wish and also identify ascending or descending. The grouping options are also here so that you can create group headers and footers.

Post back if you have further questions.
