Sorting in IE6

Good Evening,
Suddenly when I add an attachment or insert a picture in outgoing mail, the files in the folder I am drawing from come up in a random order.
They would normally come up alphbetically in an ascending order.
Don't know why this happened but as I am constantly sending attachments this is a pain.
Your thoughts appriciated!

You didn't say or indicate whether you have tried arranging the icons by name in the source folder. This would be the first thing to look at.

Explorer Window/ View/ Arrange Icons By/ Name

Also what e-mail program do you use and are you launching it from IE? Is there any difference if you just use the e-mail program without using IE?
