Sorting in a Report

Hi,
I've got a report that shows data form two tables. The data in the detail area is ordered in the right way, but the data in the head area doesn't want to be ordered in any way!!!

I tried to use the ->properties -> data -> order by entry which didn't work and i tried to sort the data source of the report using the ORDER BY clause. That did work when watching the data in the query, but not in my report!!!

Any ideas?

Anywhere in the report design area, right click and select "Sorting and Grouping." A dialog will pop up which will allow you to decide the sort orders for the report itself. Reports have sorts all of their own that are completely unrelated to the query, so you know.
