I am having problems sorting correctly. I have these ids I would to sort. For some reason, It sorts the data like the example below. it keeps jumping around keep everything in order tho. It's just that I would like it.. to be sorting properly, properly in meaning that I would like to go as 1,2,3, instead of 3,2,5.. I'm new with Crystal Reports, if you have any tips and techniques please let me know of them.

Currently being done:
id:
3.325.0
3.325.1
3.330
3.340
2.100
2.222
5
5.5
5.6

One thing that can alter sorting is spaces. If you trim the leading spaces off the string, that can fix it.
An ID field usually doesn't/shouldn't allow leading spaces, and you might wish to consider viewing this as a data problem that needs correction/prevention, rather than a reporting issue. Malcolm
