Doing a "side-by-side" comparison of last year's sales YTD compared with this year's sales YTD. Using formulas to put the sum of last year's sales for each customer in one column, and this year's sales in another column, then calculating % change at the group level.

Grouping on customer. Need to sort customers in descending order based on this year's sales (or last year's sales, or %Change). TopN expert is greyed out, because there are no "summary" fields.

Sorry for the thoughtless post. Eliminating variables from the formula and using separate formulas for each year and placing the formula in the detail line, allows me to summarize at the group level and, therefore, to sort the groups.

Thanks anyway.
