Hi,
We have a windows 2000 file server. I want to archive certain files that have not been accessed in 120 days, or that contain jpeg or mp3 extensions. How can I go about doing that? I tried the search method, but that doesn't help that much. I called microsoft, and they said I could write a script file. I don't know how to write script files. How and where can I learn that?

Please help!!

If you go to the Search function, there is a Search Options link in the window. From there you can specify to find any files that have been modified within a certain date range.

This should give you a listing of files that have not been accessed in whatever timeframe you're in need of.

Good luck.
