sorting descending date

hi, I have a subreport sorting descending on date but I want to show the most current on the bottom and only show 2 records. For example:

Date:
1/2/2009
1/5/2009
4/7/2009
5/8/2009

I sorted the sub-report by desc., now it shows on the sub-report:
date:
5/8/2009
4/7/2009

however, i would like to show:
date:
4/7/2009
5/8/2009

Please help, i'm very appreciated.

How is the sub linked to the main report? How did you force the sub to display only two records?

I linked the sub report with CustomerID on the main report... If I check "Can Grow" on the subreport then it will show all detail (every single record) on the subreport. However if I want only 2 most recently records show, then sorting date by desc. and uncheck "can grow" on the sub report the heigh the sub report long enough to show 2 records.
