I have script that writes to a table on our intranet. I'd like to give the users the option to sort by the column header (i.e. Sort by Name, Sort by Date). I would also like to give them a sort feature so they can sort by specific parameters (i.e. Sort by Date from 01/01/09-01/31/09).

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

What type of data are you writing to the table and wanting to sort?
Is it records from a database, or something like a list of files in a directory?

It is records from a database for PR events and observers we have on a medical helicopters. Each record has all the information for the event written to a database but the main summary only shows basic info (i.e. Type, Date, Base Location, Name). They want to sort the columns by the headers but they also want to be able to just see the events/observers for one specific parameter like all the ones for our Columbus based helicopter.

It sounds like you are developing an Active Server Page.
While VBScript is used for ASP, you might want to post your question in the Tek-Tips ASP.NET forum too.

I've also seen other websites that offer ASP tutorials and sample scripts for dealing with databases such as you describe.

Perhaps someone on this board will have a script that they can share, but it is more likely that we can help if you find an example script and post it here if you have problems getting it to work.
