I have a subform that is in datasheet view. I am trying to sort it in Desending order by Date as a default. I tried editing the index and still nothing happens. Any help will be appreciated. Thank You!

Base the form on a query, not a table. Sort the data in the query.

I am a rather new Access user and am not very familiar with queries. Can you help guide me through the process? Thanks.

It's probably best to use the help files to learn how to do something like this. Basically, though, you'll want to go tot he query tab and click new. You can use the wizard to help you set up a query.

But reading the help files will be best.
