I'm using Crystal Reports 8.5

I have a cross-tab report that I would like to sort the columns based on one field value, but display column headings based on a different field value.

These two fields are related. The sort is based on the operation sequence number (e.g. "0010") but the column heading would be its corresponding operation description (text).

Can anyone help, or offer suggestions?

Within the crosstab, click on the column field, select group options, and choose "Customize Group Name Field" and then use the dropdown list to select the column header description field that you want to use instead of the sort field.
