Sorting based on values from subreport

I'm getting the balance from 3 subreports (invoice, payments, DrCrMemos) passing those values back to main, and doing the final calculation of the balance due in the main report.

I want to group on the result of the balance due calculation.

Is there any way?

Not with values returned from subreports.

Change your approach to return the desired information directly in the main report. For example, use a Command, a database View, or a Stored Procedure as the data source for your report.

You can only group on the basis of values in an individual 'row' (detail line). Values returned from a subreport cannot be used until the next section in the main report.
