I am using CR9

I have a cross-tab table in my report collecting totals

The fields I am using are

Region
Call-No
Month

I am running a distinct count on Call-No for each Region Per month.

What I want to do is it to sort the cross-tab in descending order based on the total and not the region.

Eaxmple

Currently getting

East = 6
North = 3
South = 10
West = 1

What it should be like

South = 10
East = 6
North = 3
West = 1

Any Help Please

Kind Regards

Stephen

I have never tried this on a cross tab, however sorting on totals normally takes place with the TopN/Group Sort expert.

Software Sales, Training, Implementation and Support for Macola, Synergy, and Crystal Reports. Check out our Macola tools:

Select the crosstab by clicking on the upper left (empty) corner and then go to report->group sort and select distinctcount of region as your sort field. This will only work on the row total however, not per month (obviously).
