I'm using Crystal XI with Oracle 10g.
I've read and tried several formulas from previous postings, but nothing seems to be working or I'm doing something wrong.

My report is grouped by location and @roomname
with several summary fields in both.

currently the report sorts by the @roomname formula like:

OR01
OR02
OR03
OR07
OR12
OR20
OR21
OR2A

The end user would like the group sort with OR2A between OR02 and OR03. Does anyone have a way of accomplishing this?

Thank you in advance.

Insert a group on this formula:

val(right({@roomname},2))

Make this group #2, so that the group on {@roomname} is Group #3. The above formula will sort by the numbers, and then the roomname formula will add the sort by letter.
