Sorting A Table (beginner)

I have a table with Date, FirstName, LastName, Type, Start, Stop, and Total fields. I am already using the ORDER BY Date to sort by date, but I also need to sort by LastName at the same time. Is this possible?

ORDER BY Date, LastName

This will order by Date FIRST then LastName. You can add as many fields to the ORDER BY as you want.
