Hi,

I have build a grid class as explained by Marcia in thread1254-861263. Grid is populated with a cursor. H/E 'it does not work' clicking on the header gives no reaction and moreover I can't scroll vertically nor horizontally, when clicking on either "scroll button" the whole grid is selected with dash line border it can even be moved but no scrolling. What could possibly be the error I am overlooking?

Put a "set step on" in the grid's header dblclick to see is the function is triggered, if it isn't then you may have put the code in wrong places. You are using at least VFP8.0?

Ummmmm - you did not copy and paste the code exactly as I had posted it? I can assure you that this code does indeed work - I took it from a class that I have in production in several apps so if there were a problem with it, I am sure I would have heard about it by now.

You need VFP version 8 or higher to use the code that I posted.

Do you have index tags on the columns that you want to sort by?

Hi Marcia,

Yes you are right (as always) the function works like a charm, in my case it did not work initialy due to my cursor (with field names > 10) was indexed on "tag1"~"tag103". So a little changement in the istag function to return the tagname and o.k.
Thanks.
