Is there a way in Crystal Report 8.5 to sort/group a report based upon a total you get from an existing group? For example I have a report that groups data by "item Number". I would like to sort this report based upon a total I get in the footer of the "item number". Does that make sense?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is called a TopN report. Click on report, TopN/Sort Group Expert, and define your TopN or you can include all groups in your sort. This is pretty straightforward, please post again if you have any questions. Software Sales, Training and Support for Macola, Crystal Reports and Goldmine
