Well I hope there is a solution but I'm afraid I have to rethink my queries. ANyway, I have the following groups:

Superbest
Oevrige discount
Foetex
DVH ex. COOP
Bilka

In my report it's sorted as above, but I would really like to have DVH as the first group. Is there a way to do that, without changing all my queries etc.?

Hi

The query has nothing to do with the sort order of a report

Open the report in design view, then choose View \ Sorting and Grouping from the menu

Ok but can I choose which I want in the top?

Hmmm I can choose ascending or Descending order which I knew but as You can see from the list I made above I can't get DVH as the first since Bilka comes before DVH ?:p

Hi

Ah!

Superbest
Oevrige discount
Foetex
DVH ex. COOP
Bilka

are data items, I thought they were column names!

Do you have the list of possible values in a table?, if yes, amend the table to include a sort sequence field eg

4 Superbest
3 Oevrige discount
2 Foetex
0 DVH ex. COOP
1 Bilka
amend you query to include the table (joined on this column) and sort on the Sequence Number
