Sort Command Error.

Hi

I am getting the core dump after running the script with sort command on sun-solaris 8 box.Following is the core dump.
$file sort
sort:ELF 32-bit MSB executable SPARC Version 1, dynamically linked,stripped

Core dump is:-
core:ELF 64-bit MSB core file SPARCV9 Version 1, from 'sort'

We are having Sunworkshop compiler 4.2 and 5.0.Any urgent help will be appreciated.

What is the complete sort command in the script? What type of file or data is it trying to sort?
