sort catalog folders

Report Smith 4.2
ADP reinstalled their software on our payroll PC, after which the catalog folders in the left pane of Report Smith are no longer sorted. Previously a newly created folder would fall into alpha sort. The folders are no longer in any order.
How do I set the sort to alpha in the left pane for the catalog folders, the reports in the right pane sort correctly.
The ADP person did not know how to correct this.
