I have a table which lists information about personnel by name and initials (TxtName and TxtInitials). I have written a report to display this information which has a TxtName header but this shows data for only one name, regardless of initials.

I tried making a second group, using TxtInitials but this did not work.

Can anyone please advise me how I can display data for personnel with the same name but different initials.

Best Regards
John

In the sorting and grouping window, group by

[txtname]&", "[txtinitials]

Instead of grouping by txtname

Hi Lilliabeth

Thanks for the tip but I think there may be something missing. I keep getting the Syntax Error (missing operator) message box coming up. I've tried various combinations of punctuation marks but I get the same result. Any ideas?

Best Regards
John

Hi, John,

I think Lilliabeth meant:
Code:
[TxtName] & ", " [red][b]&[/b][/red] [TxtInitials]
Ken S.

Thanks Lilliabeth and Eupher, the extra "&" was all that was needed.

Best Regards
John
