Soretel Button box 24 indicator light goes off after about a minute

I have been working on a IP 230 with a BB24. The phone is used as a receptionist set, and the button box has speed dials for all the other phones on it. The problem is with one of the buttons on the 230 that is setup as a speed dial to the managers set. The receptionist uses the indication lamp next to the button to monitor if the manager is on the phone or not. The problem is the light goes off on the Button Box Button after the manager has been on the phone for about a minute, so the receptionist cannot tell if manager is still on the phone or not. The receptionist also uses communicator. In communicator the indicator will correctly show when the manager is on the phone. I have tried moving the button on the Button box, but this did not appear to fix the issue with the light going off on the receptionist's button box when the manger is on the phone after a minute. The problem only appears to affect the indicator lamp for the managers phone, the receptionist's button box has many other speed dials programed for other phones in the business, and the lamps for those buttons appear to accurately show the state of the users on the other phones. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Only the indicator next to the single entry goes out, not the entire backlight, correct?

Is the monitored extension a BCA?
