Sophos or Norton

I have the choice of running either sophos or Norton AV10 on my pc can anyone give their recommendations as to which is better?

That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

Sophos!!! Sophos keeps their AV up to date (of course, if you don't keep your copy up to date it won't do any good) and they have great support.

My experience has been Sophos is much easier on system resources and not putting all the hooks into system processes that Symantec does.

I would go Sophos.

but still i'd go for sophos since it's not a resource hog like norton.

Go with Sophos, I have installed it on about 200 Pc's, we get a couple updates a day and haven't missed detecting any viruses. I demoed Norton and it is just to much of a pain to setup and installs about 7 new services.

We used to have huuuugggeeee problems with Sophos nailing systems to 99%cpu. But it seems a lot better now (although we notice a fair slowdown using Lotus Notes when scanning).
