Hello,
I use the SOPHO system Version 9.0 with MyMail@Net 510i.
The phones are Philips Dterm.
When a user has a message waiting on their phone a red light displays on the phone, they then listen to the message and the light turns off.
For one of the users this does not happen, the Message Waiting Indicator light (WMI) does not turn on when there is a message. Callers can still leave messages at this extension and she can still retrieve them, she just has no indication that there is a message. I have plugged a phone that I know works into her port and get the same result with the message light when there is a message, also her phone works fine when plugged into another extension so there must be some issue with the settings of that extension (not the phone).
I have checked her settings and it is the same as all other users, under Messages - Message Indication - Enable Message Waiting Indication at Subscribers Extention (WMI) is selected - beneath this, At Subscribers Extention is selected - this is the same as all other subscribers, however it does not work...
Also while looking at this I have noticed that I used to be able to turn on and off the WMI at any phone by logging on to the admin webpage and selecting it, however now I cannnot do this for any extentions.
Thanks,
Paul
