Hello,

I have a problem I am trying to solve. I have a Sony PCWA-C100 wireless card and I was able to associate with a Cisco 350 Access Point. The Sony wireless card is a 40-bit card and the Cisco 350 card is 128-bit. I was able to installed the Sony card without entering a encryption key. How is that possible to be able to surf the Internet and get into the network without an encryption key established?

Thanks!

YOUR default SSID for the access point is tsunami.Just add this to your cliet and away you go! By default there is not any encryption enabled.Good Luck

I did change the SSID to something else. Will it still associate? And is there a difference using the XP Operating system vs Windows 2000?

Thanks!
