I attempted to install a mini pci intel adapter in a PCG GRT250p, which happens to be a Canadian version of the GRT250, hence the problem. I believe Canada has tighter controls on wireless emissions and this particular model should have a switch that the user turns on to enable the wireless adapter. However, since I am working with the Canadian version, there is no switch - there is a mini pci slot, but no switch to enable the adapter as far as I can tell. Any ideas on working around this problem?
