I have taken an internal SDT-9000 tape drive from NT PC and installed in a 5.25" external drive connected to Compaq Ultra3 SCSI card under Windows 2000.

The Device Manager indicates that the device is working OK but it is not using any Resources, suggesting a possible hardware conflict.

I have changed SCSI cards, tried internal and external 50 pin connectors.

Any ideas?

I have install an internal SDT-9000 tape drive into HP Netserver LC2000 under Windows 2000.

The Device Manager indicates that the device is working OK but it is not using any Resources, suggesting a possible hardware conflict.

So under "Backup" module, I just can't choose the tape drive as my backup destination.

Any ideas?
