Greetings! I recently built a Tbird 1.2 with 1.024 Gigs Ram, Asus GForce2 GTS vid card, SB Live card, etc. I installed a SONY DVD-ROM DDU1211 Drive and it works fine for reading data and music CDs. WIN 98 recognized it and loaded the MS drivers for the drive.

I have the latest version of PowerDVD player. I do not have a encoder card.

I play a DVD and it locks up after 10 to 15 minutes. I disabled all powermanagement issues and no screen savers are running. All non-essential programs are unistalled.

If you have heard of this, If you know of any good drivers for this DVD drive, or if you know a good solutuion please post and let me know. I realllllly want to start watching some DVDs.

Thanks in advance.

Tom
