Sony DVD DRU500-AX Problems

Hi,

I am having some problems with the new Sony DVDRW 500AX. I have posted the screen capture of what mine keeps saying on my site which is listed below. I bought brand new DVD+R from SmartBuy. Any help would be appreciated.

from what I can tell you have a bad DVD. have you tried another one as of yet? also, you should try and get brand name DVD's and not the odd no-name brands. in my trials I've found far fewer problems with the name-brands. pay more up front but save over the long haul with fewer coasters from bad burns.
