Hello!
We use SonicWall at work and we're having some connection issues that we don't know how to diagnose. There are times of day that seem to be more problematic than others but, no matter the time, it seems that TCP connections are somehow restricted. "Throttled" is the term we've been using in discussion, but we don't know if that is actually the case.
Let's say I start a transfer. For the first few seconds it will move along nicely at around 400KBps. Then the rate will drop down to like 4KBps. If you I stop and resume the transfer, it will briefly jump back up initially. One guy has tried switching gateways but that didn't change things.
Does anybody have any advice on how to troubleshoot this problem?
We're all running OpenSuSE but also have access to Windows machines.
Thank you!
