I have 2 SonicWalls, 1-soho3, 1-TZ170 and have a VPN setup and working, for the most part. The address on the TZ170 is x.x.4.1 and it's acting as a dhcp server, with the range x.x.4.10 - x.x.4.19 I also have a printer with a static address of x.x.4.5 connected to the TZ170. FROM the soho3, I can ping across the tunnel and hit any address in the dhcp range. FROM the soho3 I CANNOT ping the x.x.4.5, printer. FROM the TZ170, I can ping the x.x.4.5 and can print to x.x.4.5 from any PC on the local LAN. Does anyone have any idea's as to why I cannot access x.x.4.5 from the remote side of the tunnel?

Thanks

could be a number of things stopping it. the easiest test would be to put the printer inside the dhcp range and reserve it if yo can then print problem solved if not try entering the information into the host and lmhost files.
