sonicwall vpn client for mac

I'm trying to connect a user via VPN client for MAC to a Sonicwall Pro 2040 Standard running Firware VS: SonicOS Standard 3.1.0.7-77s. The downloadble client from Sonicwall does nothing. Not sure how to proceed.
The laptop is a mac running OS X 10.5.4

Thanks for any info you can provide.
