Sonicwall TZ200 issues.

I have installed a Sonicwall TZ 200 and am now having issues with it. The problem we are seeing is that it becomes inaccessible and begins dropping traffic every few minutes. It last between 30 and 60 seconds and then begins working again. When it does do this you can watch the lights on it and both the wan and lan lights go off and the "wrench" light comes on. A constant ping reveals both the internal and external interface loose connectivity when the link lights go out. I have never seen this issue. It is brand new out of the box. I assume it is just bad hardware but wondering if anyone has seen this issue with one?????
Thanks in advance. Also to note it does this even if a laptop is plugged into it and the lan is bypassed.

Try unplugging everything from and just connect one machine to the LAN. Try performing a constant ping again to the management IP and see if you still get packet loss. If so I would try upgrading the firmware then factory defaulting it. Export your config before you default it and then you can try reimporting it again.

I have also seen bad power supplies cause weird issues like this as well.

I have already tried plugging just a single device to the management interface and performed a constant ping with the same result.It has the latest firmware. I haven't reset it to factory defaults but can try that.

My issue is resolved. It was bad hardware and has been replaced. Thanks again
