I have a Sonicwall TZ180 and am not using the WAN Port. It is pluged into another router that is connected to the internet and I just want to use it as a wireless access point. If you connect a computer to a lan port of the sonicwall it can connect to the internet through the 2nd router, but I cannot get a wireless connection to the sonicwall to do the same. Does anyone know how this can be done? I would appreciate any help. Thanks

Is the wireless on the Sonicwall defined in it's own zone (WLAN) or is it bridged as part of the LAN zone?

Why can't you use the Sonicwall as it was conceived? Much better firewall than what your router has built into it.

The LAN, WLAN an WAN are all separete and have their own setting.

Only have 10 User License and can't use it that way.

So have you defined the WLAN subnet on your router and defined a route to get to that subnet via the Sonicwall's LAN interface's IP as the next hop?
