GEntlemen,

Installing 2 Sonicwall Tz170's for site to site vpn. Site A is behind a dsl modem/router. Site B is connected directly to a cable modem. I am able to establish a vpn with a 3 tz170 at our office with site B but unable to do the same with site A. At site A the dsl modem/router is set to DMZ to the Sonicwall address. Still not able to connect. Tried various port forewarding settings bt still nogo. Messed a little with transparent mode on a recommendation from Sonicwall but got nowhere. The wan address of Sonicwall A is 192.168.x.x the true wan address is a 208. address. At site B the true wan address is the address on the Sonicwall at that location. Any suggestions?

You need to give the WAN IP a public address. If you have a DSL modem with a built in switch that is performing NAT, you need to set it to bridged mode. This will allow your SW to use a public IP.
