I've been trying to configure my sonicwall pro 1260 to connect to my company's VPN but an unable to get it to the internet. We are running a D-LINK DSL-2640B because our old modem would not allow us to configure out static opps sorry "sticky" ip address/addresses (ATT is horribad. Ive disabled NAT/Firewall/DHCP in an attempt to make the modem as tranparent as possible and that most of the services are taken care of by the Sonicwall. Any ideas how can i truly make the modem transparent or where im going wronng with the configuration? The network is fine computer to computer but there is no communication from the modem to the firewall.

So you have a Sonicwall 1260 and you can not connect to the internet with it, right???

Connect a PC/laptop directly to the DSL modem and assign it the Sonicwall's WAN IP info. From there you should be able to troubleshoot better.
