Just got a new Fibre service installed by our ISP, the problem is its a 1 meg burstable service it has a flat fee of 600 a month for 1 meg and 30 dollars a month for every meg we burst over the 1 meg.

I dont want any surprises when the bill comes in does anyone know how i can rate limit the interface port to only allow it to burst to 3 megs?

thanks.

Figured it out enabled BWM global then set the ingress and engress to 3 MB each.
