Surprised no one asked same question before here. I got huge problem with Sonicwall Global VPN client, I installed it on one Dell laptop (XP SP2 with latest updates), used it connect to office LAN, worked fine. I restarted laptop, icon in the system tray shows network connection is good, but I can't go anywhere, use ipconfig /all, reply only "Windows IP Configuration" on line. I have to uninstall GVC, and network is back. I tried it on another laptop (same XP SP2), has same issue.
Seems like Sonicwall VPN client appliction conflicts with XP SP2. Anyone could give me solution?

I found the answer: turn off window's firewall.

Sorry, in fact, everytime I want to disable local area connection, have to disable Sonicwall VPN adapter first. Otherwise, network is in trouble.
