I've recenly taken over a network that has 45 site to site vpn's setup using a Pro 2040. I'm at the central site along with the servers. If I do a tracert to one of the remote sites I don't see any of the Sonicwall devices in the path. Does this mean the entire network is operating as one large layer 2 network or does the sonicwall route by default with the site to site vpn's configured.

My Ip range 172.26.2.0/24

remote site 172.26.6.0/24

tracert output

U:\>tracert 172.26.6.51

Tracing route to RNP9F7BEF [172.26.6.51]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 13 ms 7 ms 7 ms RNP9F7BEF [172.26.6.51]

Trace complete.

This is normal. The Sonicwall will route between the two quite happily by default.
