My users are able to connect to the Sonicwall but for some reason cannot obtain an ip address from the dhcp server on the Sonicwall. The status of the connection says "connected" but the properties of the connection say that the ip is 0.0.0.0. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Just select your appliance and then you should see all the available documentation on how to setup the vpn using GVC. It has a part there on how to assign an ip address to your GVC users.
