Sometimes you feel like a ZIP... Sometimes you don't

Good Day,
Can anyone tell me why one Hunt Group would give an agent a Zip Tone while another one doesn't?

I have been getting complaints about a new Hunt Group I built where "The Call Is Just There" as they say... No warning... Just there...

The other Hunt Groups seem to work as they should...

Are these calls coming in via a VDN? If so, did you fill out the "VDN of Origin Annc. Extension:" field?
 
They are, but I have set up the Zip Tone to play after the VOA extension, if any...

Hmm, then I am stuck - sorry. Where did you define the ZIP?
 
I have recently taken over this switch so I didn't really define the zip. I am under the impression that when you enable auto answer and have the headset and release buttons on the phone (Callmaster), the calls will automatically get the tone before a call comes in.

Then, if you define a VOA, the tone will play after the message.

I guess there's more to it than that because the Hunt Group I built is the only one that does not give the Zip Tone.

are you using EAS? if you are, you may want to check the agent ID and see how the auto-answer field is administered.

The Agent-ID is set to Station. The station is set to ACD...
That sounds right... I am assuming this means the Agent-ID will take the station settings. Am I correct?

try to set auto-answer to NONE and see what happens
